I, Alix, duchess of Burgundy, make known to all who will look at the present letters that I hold and will hold valid the donation made to the Cistercian house and convent of the tithe of Haymeric Bridge, large as well as small, which Henry, count of Bar-le-Duc, made to them in pure and perpetual alms, which same he held from me in fief. Ego Alaydis, ducissa Burgundie, notum facio universis presentes litteras inspecturis, quod ego donationem factam domui & conventui Cistercii de decima de Ponte Haymerici tam in grossis quam minutis, quam Henricus, comes Barri, fecit eisdem in puram et perpetuam elemosinam, quas idem de me in feodo tenebat, ratam habeo et habebo.
