I, Alix, duchess of Burgundy. make known to all who will look at the present letters that Guy Chabuz, with the approval and consent of Albert and Walter, his brothers, gave and conceded to God and the church of Lieu-Dieu near Vergy, and to the nuns serving God there, in perpetual alms twelve sesters of wine in the Vergy measure, to be collected each year at Molay (?Muulley); moreover it should be known that that same Guy, with the approval and consent of his aforesaid brothers, sold to that church of Lieu-Dieu his bordage of Ternes, to be possessed in perpetuity peacefully and freely, as he had held it, and three workdays worth of arable land next to the fountain of Ternes, to be similarly possessed in perpetuity, and all these above said, namely said alms as well as the sale of bordage and of arable land, said [sic] Pons de Blasey wished, approved, and conceded, in whose feof all the above are, and moreover the oftmentioned Guy and his previously named brothers are held to guarantee legally the abovesaid to the church against all.
