Officials of SavoyTranslated letter:
Countess of Savoy, wife of the marquis in Italy, to all our castellans and villagers and friends, greetings and benevolence. We have had letters sent in which we order you by command that neither you nor anyone in our land receive toll or market-fee or anything from the Carthusian brothers or their people, since our ancestors granted that in alms to said brothers for their salvation; you should know that we wish to escort them along with their things, going and coming.
