Chirograph, divided by letters of the alphabet, in which it is noted – in the year 1170 from the incarnation of the Lord – that Guillelma viscountess of Nîmes and B. Ato, her son, gave a cliff situated at Torril, to Peter Raynald and Stephen his brother to receive according to the usual conditions. “Witnesses of this are: Bernard Magister, Bertrand Guirald, with four others. Peter the Small, commanded by both sides, wrote it.”

Chirographum, per litteras alphabeti divisum, quo notum fit, -- anno ab incarnatione Domini M.C.LXX. -- Guillelmam Nemausensem vicecomitissam et B. Atonem, ejus filium unam costam, sitam apud Torril, Petro Rainaldo et Stephano ejus fratri ad acaptum, solitis conditionibus, donasse. – “Hujus rei sunt testes: Bernardus Magister, Bertrandus Guiraldus, cum quatuor aliis. Petrus Petiti scripsit, mandatus ex utraque parte.”
