A letter from Peter, count of Auxerre

Translated letter:

To his dearest lady and friend Blanche, countess palatine of Troyes, Peter, count of Auxerre, [sends] greetings and ready service and honor in all things.  Know that I approve the sale that my beloved Peter of Touquin made to you of land he had at Troyes for thirty pounds which he gave me in exchange and sale for the fief of his lodging at La Tour de Vèvre.  Whence I ask you that you approve that exchange and report it by your letters to me which you send sealed.

Original letter:

Karissime domine et amice sue Blanche comitisse Trecensis palatine, P(etrus), comes Autisiodorensis salutem, et paratum in omnibus obsequium et honorem. Sciatis quod ego laudo vobis venditionem illam quam dilectus meus P(etrus) Tosquins fecit vobis de triginta libratis terre quas habet Trecis, que posuit mihi in excambium feodi herbergagium suum de Weve, et emptionem. Unde rogo vos quatinus excambium illud laudetis et per litteras vestras michi mandetis, quas michi patentes mittatis.
