Translated letter:

I William of Montpellier, son of Ermessend, from this hour forward shall not have Melgueil money forged, nor shall I make other money of pure silver in Montpellier nor in the whole county of Substantion against this, nor man nor woman, etc.  And if a man or women should do this in the whole county of Substantion, when you countess Beatrice of Melgueil, daughter of countess Guillelma and of Bernard, late count of Melgeueil, and you Bernard Pelet, count of Melgueil by yourselves or by your messenger notify me, I shall not remove myself from that warning, etc.  This was enacted at Moulins, in the year from the lord Incarnation, 1145, in the month of March, in the presence of Bernard of Pignan, Redolon of Arsac, G. Ariald, Peter of Cournon, Raymond of Vailhauques, etc.
