Translated letter:

(E)lizabeth by the grace of God, dowager queen of Hungary, duchess of Macsó and Bosnia, to all the faithful of Christ who will look at the present page, greetings to the savior of all.  Worthy zeal of devoted loyalty is usually repaid with rewards and receives the fruit in praise and the glory of rewards.  Therefore we wish to bring to the notice of all by the content of the presents that since a noble and prudent man, master Theodore, provost of Szeben, special notary of the court of lord Ladislaus, illustrious king of Hungary, our dearest son, faithfully served that lord King with the frequency of the yoke of labors, and later devotedly gave gracious service to us in all our affairs and business; we, considering the loyalty and service of the provost Theodore, which have been rendered many times before our eyes, have given, donated, and conferred to be possessed perpetually in peace certain of our lands, long pertaining to our court of Segesd, called Deench and Ztupan and belonging to them, empty and devoid of inhabitants, thoroughly excepted and exempt from our court of Segesd, to the provost Theodore, and through him to count Ladislaus, his brother, and his heirs and the successors of his heirs, from the fullness of our grace.  So that this our donation may obtain the force of perpetual stability, and not be able to be revoked at any time ever, we have granted the present letters strengthened by the protection of our double seal.  Dated by the hands of the prudent man master Urbaz, provost of Pozsega, our faithful chancellor of our court, in the thousand twohundred eightyfourth (1288th) year of the Lord.
