Chapter of Alba

Translated letter:

E[lizabeth] by the grace of God queen of Hungary to her faithful in the chapter of Alba (Fehérvár) greetings and grace.  Since count/ispán Peter and master Cosmas of our waggoners/carters (plaustralium) and Gregory, our faithful youths/lads asked that we give them a certain reginal land of ours namely of our heralds, called Büssü in the bounds of the county/ispánate of Somogy and Tolna, we command your fidelity, ordering that you send one of yours as witness before whom Paul, our tavarnic (chamberlain) might walk over the area of said land with all the boundary-sharers and neighbors and establish to count/ispán Peter and master Cosmas and Gergory our said youths, if it is not opposed, and the opposers, if there be any, he would summon to our presence at an appropriate time, and after that you would faithfully write back the quality and quantity and course of the boundaries of that land.  Dated at Alba on the eve of St. Andrew the apostle.
