chapter of the church of Buda

Translated letter:

E[lizabeth] by the grace of God queen of Hungary to her faithful in the chapter of Buda greetings and grace. You should know that the sisters of the island of the Glorious Virgin are supposed to show their charters on certain of their possessions called Béc, Ráksi, and Dada, in our presence on the quinzaine (fifteen days) of the Holy King, but since because of the dangers of the roads they do not dare to bring those charters to our court in the original (in specie), we command your loyalty ordering that you write to us under your seal the content of their charter(s) on those possessions that were shown to you, not to be done otherwise (aliud non facturi).  Dated in Pátró, on the day after the Assumption of the Glorious Virgin.

Datum in Patruh, in crastino Assumptionis Virginis Gloriose.
