Translated letter:

Agnes by the grace of God queen of hungary to all the faithful of Christ who will look at the present page greetings in the savior of all.  We wish to bring to the notice of those in the future by the content of these that the prudent (discretus) man master Paul, lector of the church of Buda, coming into our presence showed us a charter of lady Fenenna formerly illustrious queen of Hungary consort/spouse of lord Andrew by the grace of God illustrious king of Hungary our dearest consort confirming a charter of lady Elizabeth/Isabella formerly most serene queen of Hungary widow namely of lord Ladislaus king of bright memory composed about her conferring of a certain reginal land called Juthos between the lands of nobles of Jwtos and lands of others living there in the county of Veszprém on which reginal conditionaries who are called kendbuchar in the vulgate resided and some reside now, asking with urgency that we deign to approve that charter and to ratify and confirm it by our reginal charter with benevolence and giving our consent that we permit him that he transfer that land to the right and property of the provost and chapter of our church of Veszprém, whose canon he now is, by title of perpetual gift and commission, by which the church of Veszprém recognizes that it received the increments of diverse benefits.  Whose content is thus:  [Fenenna, 1291, 259/258, Ep. 26294.html].  We therefore favorably inclined to the just and legitimate requests of that master Paul, lector of the church of Buda and his beneficial intention, that he transfer that land to the right and property of the provost and chapter of our church of Veszprém, whose special patron we are, at the advice of all our barons offering their consent and we cause the said assenting charter of lady queen Fenenna which is not in doubt, not abolished, not erased nor cancelled, not spoiled in any part, inserted word for word in the presents by the authority of the presents, leaving said reginal land by donation and commission of that master Paul lector of said [church of] Buda to the church of Veszprém to be possessed in perpetuity and peacefully in eternal memory of the thing.  In testimony of which thing we have granted the present letters strengthened by the protection of our double seal.  Dated by the hand of the prudent man master Paul provost of Kalocsa (Colocensis), faithful vicechancellor of our court, in the 1299th year of the Lord, fifteenth kalends of January.

Historical context:

At the request of a lector of Buda who has shown her a charter of the previous queen Fenenna, first wife of king Andrew, confirming a charter of an earlier queen, that granted him land.   Queen Agnes approves the charter and permits the lector to transfer his land to the church of Veszprém.  The earlier charter was cited in the letter, but does not appear in this edition.  That charter, probably Epistolae 26294.html, identifies Paul as a cantor of the church of Buda.
