Translated letter:

[summary] Grant to B. countess of Provence, the king's mother, in enlargement of the grant to her for life of the manor of Fakeham, that she may bind, pledge, lease or assign the manor to whom she will, for fifteen years after her death. And they are duplicated.

Historical context:

The grant of Fakeham/Fekenham was made to the countess for life by the king in February, 1243, see CPR 3.364. This letter enlarges the grant. The printed patent rolls give only a summary of the text in English.
