Translated letter:

Marguerite, etc., to the illustrious man Alphonse, etc. Desiring to be certain about your state, we ask you through the bearer of the presents to make us more certain about that state, which we hope is flourishing in all prosperity, and about your pleasure. Dated like the preceding.

Original letter:

Margarita, etc., illustri viro Alfonso, etc. De statu vestro cupientes certitudinem obtinere, rogamus vos quatinus per latorem presencium nos de eodem statu, omni utinam prosperitate florente, reddatis cum vestro beneplacito cerciores. Datum quando et precedens.

This letter asking about Alphonse's health may have been a public cover for the letter requesting ships, ep.2017 (511.html), which may have been conveyed to him privately.
