(See also Genealogical Table(s): 1. 2, 2.4.2.)Adela was a daughter of Robert II (“the pious”) of France and Constance of Provence; she was married first to Richard III of Normandy, then to Baldwin V of Flanders, with whom she had Baldwin VI and Robert the Frisian, successive counts of Flanders, Matilda, queen of William I of England, and Odo, archbishop of Trier.
