Translated letter:
In the first year of king Philip, on the 4th kalends of May, Richard Altimir, gave liegemen to lord Raymond, count of Barcelona, and to lady Almodis, countess: Miro Riculf for a thousand solidos and Raymond Raymondi for another thousand and Raymond Sancio for another thousand, so that said Richard would have made in Tarrega the best two towers of a hundred palms in height and a hundred in width by the feast of St. Andrew that will come first and between this feast of St. Andrew that comes now to the next feast of St. Andrew, he may have built in said Tarrega two besturres,* each of fifty palms in height and fifty in width, and that courtyard that ought to be next to said towers and besturres; and that this be all done without deception for said count and countess. And these said towers and besturres and courtyard be such as is written in the agreement which said Richard made with said count and countess; and these said three thousand solidos have the value of 60 ounces Barcelona. And if this, which is written above, is not done by said two feasts of St. Andrew, each of said lieges should give to said count and countess such thousand solidos that are worth 20 ounces of Barcelona gold within 15 days that the said count and/or countess asked for said three thousand solidos from them.

Historical context:
This letter records Richard Altemir's promise to the count and countess that he would build towers in Tarrega as he had promised in their agreement (#171).
Scholarly notes:
* bes should mean 2/3, but here it seems to be a half tower.
