Translated letter:

I, Peter, son of the late woman, Guidenellis, swear that from this hour forth I shall be faithful to count Raymond, son of the late Sancia, countess, and to Almodis, countess, daughter of countess Amelia, without trickery, without fraud and without evil artifice and without any deception of said count Raymond and countess Almodis.  I said Peter from this hour forward shall not deceive/deprive said count nor said countess of their lives nor of their members which are held in their bodies, nor of that city which is called Barcelona, nor of that county which is called Barcelona, nor of that city which is called Girona, nor of that county which is called Girona, nor of that county which is called Ausona, nor of those bishoprics or abbacies which are in said counties or pertain to said bishoprics and abbacies, nor of those towns or castles, nor of those hills or cliffs, developed or undeveloped, which are in said counties, nor of that town which is called Tamarid with all its appurtenances, nor of that town which is called Cervaria, nor of that town which is called Camarasa, nor of that town which is called Camarasa, nor of that town which is called Cardona with all its appurtenances, nor of those parias* of Spain which they hold today and ought to have and will, God granting, acquire in the future.  All these written above I, the above-inscribed Peter shall not take away, nor take of them from said count and countess, nor [will] a man or men, a woman or women, by my counsel or by my artifice.  And if there is a man or men, woman or women, who take all the above or any of all the above from the said namely count Raymond and countess Almodis, I the inscribed Peter shall be an aid to said count and countess to hold and have and fight for all the above in faith, without deception, against all men or man, women or woman, who might take all the above or any of all the above from said count and countess, except the counts Pons of Inpuritano and Galfred of Roussillon.  And this inscribed aid I, the inscribed Peter shall give in faith without deception to said count Raymond and countess Almodis, as often as they call upon me by themselves or by their messengers or messenger;  and I shall not refuse to be called on and he who did the calling will have no delay.  As is written above, so I shall hold and heed, I said Peter in faith without deception to said count Raymond and countess Almodis.  By God and these saints.
