Translated letter:

I, Roland William of Voltrera, swear to you, lord Raymond, count of Barcelona, and lady Almodis, countess, my lords, that from this hour forward I shall be faithful to you without deception on your life and all the members that are held in your bodies; and I shall be an aid to you to hold and have and to defend and fight by direct faith for that city of Girona and its county and bishopric, and that county and bishopric of Barcelona, and that county and bishopric of Ausona, and your parias*in Spain and all things pertaining to said county and bishoprics and all that you now have and will acquire henceforth, God helping, with my counsel against all men or women who might take or wish to take all the aforesaid or anything from all the aforesaid.  As it is written above, so I shall hold this and keep it, I said Roland William to you, said count and countess, my lords, without trickery and artifice and any deception, to my knowledge.  By God and these holy things.

Iuro ego Rodlandus Guilielmi de Voltrera vobis, domno Raimundo, Barchinonensi comiti, et domne Almodis, comitisse, senioribus meis, quod ab [h]ac hora et deincebs fidelis ero vobis sine vestro engan de vestra vita et de omnibus membris que se tenent in corporibus vestris; et adiutor ero vobis a tenere et abere et ad defendere et ad guerreiare directam fidem ipsam civitatem de Gerunda et eius comitatum et episcopatum, et ipsam de Barchinona et eius comitatum et episcopatum, et Ausona et eius comitatum et episcopatum, et vestras parias de Ispania et totas ipsas pertinentes res ad iam [dictos] comitatus et episcopatus, et hoc totum quod modo habetis et deincebs adquisieritis, adiuvante Deo, cum meo consilio contra cunctos homines vel feminas qui tollant aut voleant tollere predicta omnia aut aliquid de predictis omnibus. Sicut suprascriptum  est, si o tenre et o atenre ego iam dictus Rodlandus Guilielmi vobis, predicti[s] comiti et comitisse, senioribus meis, sine engano et ingenio et ulla vestra decepcione, me sciente.  Per Deum et hec sancta.
